SLIP ON FLANGE
This is by far the most common quality cross joint with least capital outlay but labour intensive. The ducts are made on the simplest duct line with plain ends. The flange can be purchased in 5m lengths and cut up as required. 4 pieces of flange with 4 corner pieces make up a square frame, which is then fitted to the duct ends. Each duct is joined together with either corner bolts or clips. All these methods of corner seaming can be used.

INTEGRAL FLANGE SINGLE CLEAT

INTEGRAL FLANGE SINGLE CGF2
This is very good system but requires a greater capital outlay. With a reasonable amount of production the capital would be quickly repaid because of the labour and bought out flange savings.
This system has its own corner pieces, which hold the ducts rigid and are held together by corner bolts or clips. The flange is rolled directly on to the duct ends automatically during the duct forming process. Only Pittsburg corner seam can be used.

INTEGRAL FLANGE DOUBLE HOLLOW CGF1
This is the ultimate quality and labour saving system. The flange is very similar to the slip on type but rolled directly on to the duct ends automatically during the duct forming process. Each duct is joined together with corner bolts and clips. As CGF2, only the Pittsburg seam can be used.
