The Firmac MDF (Modular Duct Forming) System is designed to produce the CGF1 Flange profile integral duct as the Pro-Duct CGF1.
The flange is again the standard 30 and 20mm profile in accordance with HVCA - DW 144 of UK and SMACNA of USA.
Whilst the CGF1 Pro-Duct System is totally automatic in its operation of producing a complete duct with integral flange and finished corner seam direct from coil on one machine, the MDF System in comparison completes ducts to the same end result, but with manual transfer of the duct between the 3 separate machines. Because of this the duct cycle time is increased, however this is reflected in a comparable saving on the purchase price of the two systems. This is the ideal solution for producing high specification ducts at a lower investment if the additional floor space is not a problem.
